About Strider S.R. Klusman
Strider S.R. Klusman is the founder of Duramen Publishing. He has recently published the first book, Stone, in his 3-part series, The Adventures of Rhone & Stone.
Biography
Strider began writing after completing his twenty-five years as a fire fighter/EMT. The emotions and experiences of those calls carry themselves through every story, bringing true ‘been-there’ reality to the scenes.
With additional years as a general contractor, designer, business owner, wildland firefighter, big game guide, ski instructor, mountain climber, back packer, and sword fighter, his wide range of knowledge is intricately woven through the stories.
To date, Strider has written YA (young adult), NA (New adult), and general fiction in the realm of: sci-fi western, light steampunk, dystopian (post apocalyptic), gaslight (early mechanism era) and just good fun reading. Most of his writing is structured to teach, as well as entertain.
Strider and his wife Pam live on an island in the Puget Sound. A great benefit of their beautiful woodland home is being only steps from the rocky beach. A perfect place to write and romance.

The Adventures of Rhone & Stone

Stone is book 1 of The Adventures of Rhone & Stone. The heartfelt story of a down-and-out teen, orphaned and on his own in the old west. His connection with an alien entity was not on his list of things to do for the day, but picking up the pretty rock from the shallow river was probably the most important happening in his life. Meeting up with The Commissioner’s men, was maybe the worst. With Stone taken, it was up to Rhone to save his unique friend, saving him from a life of enslavement.

Luna, is book 2 of The Adventures of Rhone & Stone series. An ongoing story of Rhone & Stone move to the big city and his subsequent immersion into the OPR. But it’s his connection with Bella that gets the action going. Of course pirates and airships don’t hurt the story at all. Publishing spring of 2022.

Recalled, is book 3 of The Adventures of Rhone & Stone. With The Lady Luna finally flying successfully, Rhone was ready to take on the world. It worked for the pirate problems in Corgy, so why not? Until Stone received a message from Jewel, the crystalline entity Aundrea had partnered with. With a heavy heart, Rhone was forced to turn over his new Captaincy to Bella, now Captain Belle, and return to the big city. there must be trouble brewing to get him recalled, but he was an agent and it was his job. Available fall of 2022.
